Death Ray
This week, we bring you Death Ray’s Final diatribe of the season.

Couldn’t resist the urge to round off the season by looking at some of the quirkier stats of the year for our teams.

The Ringers:
The only one of our sides not to suffer a death in BBIII, although playing plenty of dead players of course. Also had our longest winning streak (4).

The Marauders

Contains the most heavily armoured, strongest, clumsiest and slowest player in the franchise. (Coryupto)

The Eternals
Our richest, best supported, highest rated and crappiest team!

Extreme
Played more games (6) against teams from higher leagues. (Winning 2)

The Foretold
Played fewest home games as a % of all our teams. (37.5%)

The Tornados

Joint (with the Renegades) highest number of players who have scored a TD. (9)

The Renegades
Team carrying the most injuries. Joint highest number of players to score casualties. (with the Eternals,13)

Hope that some of those were of interest, you can’t help reflect that the Eternals have seriously lost it: They’ve so many great players but just can’t seem to put it all together on match days.

How Creoch remains in his job is a mystery to me and indeed to many fans who must surely be haemorrhaging to the other sides. The Dead Ringers could have obtained promotion this season with a bit more commitment and Extreme, the Marauders and even the foretold gave their fans a cup run at least. The Renegades may have disappointed but at least there was the frisson of the play offs. Come on Creoch: Time for fresh blood at the top!

The Foretold: The Future Approaches

An up and down year for the Foretold who held their own but never really committed to the number of games required for success. Anorak corner looks at back and ahead for the plucky lizards from Future Field.

Final Analysis All Games BBI - BBIII
There’s much concealed in these figures of course, for example two thirds of our wins against dark elves are accounted for by the Dark Stars and the Halfling figures are completely skewed, the Mighty Nippers accounting for all our defeats and the Grasshuggers have lost every game against us. It gets even more confusing where the opposition includes our own sides where defeats are also victories…

So there it is. The casualty results will be featured next issue followed by a look at Bloodbowl III in isolation. After that TOS takes a rest until our previews for BB IV begin later on this year.
