PostSubject: The Shattered Amulet   Fri 29 Feb - 20:32:26

Long Ago the God of Law, Solkan, defeated Khorn but at a cost. As the fatal blow was struck by Khorn, he hit the amulet worn by Solkan and it shattered in to 4 pieces. In the distraction, Solkan struck a winning blow. Where the pieces of the Amulet were hidden remains a mystery, but a learned man thinks he has found them, but so has a clan of Skaven

Sent into the Dungeons, our green heroes to be search for the lost pieces of Solkans Amulet.

Advanced Heorquest takes MB's heroquest to the next level. Your heroes will improve with every adventure they complete and you get to personalise them to your own taste. With the player generator and large range of equipment, no two heroes are ever the same.

Any number of players can join, but it works best with 5.

Drong the Soft, brother to Drong the Hard, gathered his accomplises around the table at the Grouse Head.
"There be treasure and much slaying to do down there"
The Elf sneered, while the Warrior and mercenarys eyes widened

"Treasure?"
"Oh aye, there be much down there"
Little did Drong know he was leading them to a death trap. Only minutes into their expedition into the Warlords lair they were ambushed. The Mercenary died swiftly, his head never was found, while Drong died in a violent melee. The Elf of course fled, but only after killing the rest of the ambushers and dragging the unconscious warrior out with him.

Upon their return, fools often never learn, a dwarf Slayer known only as Drengi accompanied them. They told little of their quest, only that they returned with many rats ears, a lot fo tacticle maps and a very big pice of amulet. Oh and a S**t load of money

Sam, Jareth & James delved deeper in to the Dungeons in Search for Solkans Amulet. Having already found the first piece of the amulet they found a map that led them to a Warlords lair. Stained in blood, they knew the Assasins would be after them in these deep dungeons.
En route they find a surviving member of a failed expedition who offers his services, which they duly accept, and continue the slaughter of many a foul Skaven. Although they soon found that Jareth was perhaps best suited to attacking his assailants from a distance rather than at clsoe quarters - the smell of Skaven is enough to put off those festidious Elves.
Reaching the Magic Maze they have to avoid several flaming infernoes that seem hell bent on persuing our valiant heroes, and even in all this danger they still find time to argue amongst themselves. Mostly over the moralaties behind killing already dead skaven - hmm I cant see where the argument is here, and as for the moral behaviour?????
Finally reaching their destination they figure out a way to destroy said fiends once and for all (Maybe with a little help from the GM) they are then posed with a riddle "Tell me the name of which I was given at birth backwards" After struglling with this rather easy riddle the GM would laugh last as a 12 year old known only as Matt woudl tell them the answer to this riddle. And so it was that our useless heroes came to possetion of the second piece of the amulet. And that was me going easy on them

Of course to add insult to injury, they later discovered that you can buy Solkans Amulets for five silver pieces (or ten for a crown) from Spencworth and Markwool's gift Emporium in Mirkwood Street.
